Mary Smith

Mary is our record keeper, bookkeeper, secretary, and Women's Issues Coordinator. She does a fantastic job making sure we have all of our student's information correct on our rosters and takes care of all paperwork that Gun Safe submits to the Nebraska State Patrol and the NRA. She will be the first one you see when you arrive at check in, and the last person you'll see as she grades your written test on the way out of the classroom. We absolutely could not operate without her!

James Brumfield

James has been a family friend and Range Safety Officer for Gun Safe for many years. His job is to ensure the safety of all students at the range as well as the staff, his job is not instructional. James is an accomplished martial artist, a great shot with a rifle, and has been carrying a firearm daily for more than 10 years as an armed security officer and as a private citizen with a concealed handgun permit.

Daniel "DJ" Victor

DJ has been a close friend of Patrick's for years and a range safety officer with Gun Safe for more than four years. His job is to ensure the safe handling of firearms by students. DJ is not an instructor on the line. His only job, just like James, is to make sure no one injured or killed by the unsafe handling of firearms. If either of these gentlemen reach for your gun during the course, you let them take it without exception. DJ also has experience as an armed security officer.
